Now is the time to begin thinking about 2010 & 2012
A year ago, we were in the midst of the primaries. You could vote, but the pool of candidates was already chosen. Now is the time to invest time and energy in a candidate who understands our industry and the need for the U.S. to stay competitive globally.

Can NASF move beyond just fighting regulations?
While NASF’s government relations arm is strong, most of its energies are spent on bringing balance to new policy at the federal level. Would it be possible to spend our dollars and time in such a way that we set the agenda?

Can NASF members leverage their leadership experience?
Perhaps there are members who could take the leadership experience they have gained in business to Springfield or even Washington. If candidate has vision, it only takes a small core of dedicated supporters to propel them into office. Besides, it seems that the legal profession is over-represented compared to industry.
