With an educational background in chemistry and economics, Gardiner has long given attention to economic issues affecting the metal finishing industry beginning with a 1997 economic impact study of the Fastener Quality Act, which was then predicted to have significant influence on the industry, in the economics department at Northern Illinois University. Gardiner most recently addressed issues of globalization and the metal finishing industry at the Rockford NASF branch. He is currently in technical marketing and project management at Chem-Processing, Inc. in Rockford, Illinois.
He is currently part of Chem Processing, Inc. and is available to give presentations on globalization trends and how they affect the manufacturing and metal finishing industries.
